Overview

Azure Logic Apps allows you to automate workflows and integrate apps, data, services, and systems. It is designed to simplify the process of building scalable and manageable solutions for complex workflows.

  • Workflow Automation

    • Enables you to design workflows that automate business processes and tasks.
    • Uses a visual designer to create workflows with little or no code.
  • Integration

    • Connects various applications and services, both on-premises and in the cloud.
    • Supports a wide range of connectors, including those for Office 365, Azure services, Salesforce, and SQL Server.
  • Triggers and Actions

    • Workflows start with a trigger, such as an event in an application or a schedule.
    • Actions follow the trigger, performing operations like data transformation, sending emails, or updating records.
  • Scalability and Reliability

    • Automatically scales to handle large volumes of workflow executions.
    • Built-in redundancy ensures high availability and reliability.
  • Example Use Case

    • Automating an employee onboarding process.
    • Trigger: New employee added to the HR system.
    • Actions: Send a welcome email, create user accounts in various systems, and schedule orientation sessions.
