And the day has come.

Signing in for the last time.

It's strange how something you've done almost every day eventually becomes something you'll do for the last time.

One last login.

One last look at the usual tools, messages, tickets, systems, and all the other things that slowly became part of the daily routine.

One last look at Disneyland.

I gained a lot during my time here.

I learned plenty from the PH team, especially from seeing how applications are built, maintained, fixed, and sometimes broken before being fixed again.

I learned just as much from the US team. Networking was already familiar territory for me, but there's always a difference between knowing something from books and certifications and actually seeing how all the pieces work together in the real world.

And of course, I learned a ton from the House of Mouse too.

Different teams. Different people. Different problems.

Some days were smooth.

Some were definitely not.

There were things I understood immediately and others that sent me down several hours of Googling, reading documentation, staring at logs, and wondering what the hell I was missing.

But I guess that's part of it.

You don't really notice how much you've picked up along the way until you're about to leave and suddenly start looking back.

The systems I've worked on, the problems I've encountered, the people I've learned from, and even the mistakes I've made all became small pieces of experience that I'm bringing with me to wherever I go next.

And now it's time to close this chapter.

“Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.”

So, yeah.

Onto an awesome new start.
