Updated Jun 07, 2020 ·

The Goal

The retrospective aims for continuous improvement by evaluating all aspects of team performance during the sprint, identifying successes, and implementing necessary changes. As a Product Owner, prioritize actions based on the team’s insights from the sprint.

Cultivating Openness

This private meeting fosters openness among team members to discuss challenges and areas for improvement. While sponsors aren’t present, their support may be sought for implementing identified improvements.

Key Questions

  • Was the environment conducive for open team discussions?
  • Did team members feel comfortable addressing challenges and seeking assistance?
  • What lessons were learned?
  • Have these lessons resulted in actionable improvements?
  • Were the improvements implemented successfully in the next sprint?

Celebrating Achievements

Post-retrospective, meet with your Scrum Master and sponsor to discuss progress and highlight team achievements.
